The Trimble Family Crest

Many of us endeavor to find out about our past, especially since the United States is one big melting pot of immigrants. Gary took this mission on a few years ago, wanting to know if the Trimble family had a crest. Trouble is, creating crests for family names is big business these days. He found one, as did his Uncle Bob.

Well it turns out that the Trimble family crest is legitimate, as is our family's connection to the crest. It seems that a distant relative, who lived in Scotland, saved King Robert the Bruce from a charging bull. The relative was rewarded with land and given the name Turnbull, of which Trimble is a derivative.

More information concerning the Trimble family history will be added. In the mean time, peruse each of our family member's bio pages to learn what we modern Trimbles do with our time.
