Our Cats
Shortly after moving into our new home, we decided to adopt two cats from the local animal shelter. We decided on two tabbys, who are brothers. We named them Pippin (the grey) and Merry (the orange) from the Lord of the Rings. Pippin is a real sweety, but is the one who gets into everything. Merry has the attitude, but has his moments of wanting attention. Their favorite past time is chasing each other through the house.
Aragorn
We adopted Aragorn from an adoption agency at a local PetSmart. He was one of five in a litter. He is German Shepherd mix (we think labrador and maybe some Dobie as well). The cats didn't care much for him at first, but now they all get along fine. We expect Aragorn to get to around 80 pounds. He loves to be around people and is excellent with kids.
Hammie
Sheila had been asking for a hamster for quite some time now. While Gary didn't have much problem with this, it was Edna that Sheila really had to convince (Edna hates anything that looks like a rat). Well, after we let William have a lizard for his birthday, Edna finally relented and we took her to the local pet store to get a hamster. She really is quite cute. She has a small cage with a detachable ball to roam the house in. The cats know the animal is in Sheila's room and are constantly trying to get in the room.
